Logo Spacing

To ensure the logo remains legible and to maintain integrity, it is advisable to keep the surrounding areas of all variations of the Ipswich School logos clear of all other elements.

The minimum clear space for the Ipswich School logo variations are defined by the height of the letter ‘S’ of the of the word “School” from the Ipswich School logo.

(Please see diagram for further guidance)

Logo Placement

The placement and size of the logo depends on the type of printed collateral or digital space that is being used or created. For printed collateral, it is advised that the logo is positioned centrally or in the top left.

Please refer to the templates section and application of brand items for further guidance on logo usage and placement.

Logo usage with imagery

All logo variations should be clearly legible when applied over imagery. Please ensure there is a high contrast between the gold or white colour of the logo and the image itself (as seen in image 1). A vignette can be applied to imagery to help achieve this contrast.

Guidance on how to use the vignette can be found in the photography section of BrandBag.

The logo in image 2 has been incorrectly placed over an image that contains mainly light tones. This creates a low contract between the logo and the image itself and therefore compromises the visibility of the logo. (Please see diagram for further guidance)
